It's no secret that Toyota is working on a compact SUV that will be launched in different markets. The Japanese carmaker had unveiled a compact SUV concept - the C-HR - at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, and later announced to spawn a vehicle on that.

This new hatchback will be based on the all-new CMF-A platform that has been jointly developed by Renault and Nissan. Additionally, the car's engine, a new 800cc 3-cylinder petrol, has also been co-developed by both the two companies.
