The MG Cyberster is an upcoming all-electric roadster from MG Motor India, set to launch in January 2025. This model marks MG's entry into the electric sports car segment in India.

Design and Features

The Cyberster features a sleek design with scissor-opening doors and a folding soft-top roof. Its exterior includes sweptback headlights, a contoured bumper with a splitter, and prominent air intakes. The rear is highlighted by arrow-shaped LED taillights and a connected LED light bar.

Inside, the cabin is adorned with sand-brown leather and suede, integrating a central unit that combines the infotainment display and digital instrument cluster. The steering wheel is a flat-bottomed design with aluminum spokes, paddle shifters, and various controls.

Performance and Specifications

The Cyberster is equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack powering two electric motors—one on each axle—producing a combined 528 bhp and 725 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. It offers a maximum range of 580 km on a single charge.

Sales and Availability

The Cyberster will be retailed through MG's premium retail arm, MG Select, which is set to launch in early 2025. This new sales channel aims to offer an elevated brand experience to customers seeking premium vehicles.

The Cyberster has 3 screens in the cabin - a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch infotainment display, and a 7-inch screen to the driver's left. Electric scissor doors and a folding soft-top roof are some of the big highlights on the car. It will be offered in a dual-motor version with a maximum power of 503 bhp and peak torque of 725 Nm. Ir does 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds while a 77 kWh battery pack promises a range of up to 580 km on a single charge.
