Apparently Tata Motors' board has given the go-ahead to the development of two SUVs with engineering assistance from Land Rover. If things go according to the plan, then the SUVs are expected to be launched in 2017.

Tata Motors, the home-grown automajor, is planning to bring in the facelifted model of its flagship SUV - the Safari Storme - during the upcoming festive season.

If rumours are to be believed, Jaguar is planning to take on the BMW M3 with a performance version of its upcoming XE saloon. The Jaguar XE SVR will borrow its powertrain from the F-Type S, i.e. the supercharged 5.0-litre V8.
