Watch: A Preview of New Land Rover Discovery Sport's Interiors

Land Rover has released a short film that previews the upcoming Discovery Sport's interiors. Though the video doesn't reveal much about the compact SUV's cabin, we spotted a handful of features typical to the cabins of Land Rover vehicles including the tall dashboard, the large central touchscreen display, and a multifunction steering wheel.

The video also draws the viewers' attention to the first member of the new Discovery family's adaptable 5+2 seat layout, which will be a standard provision in the United Kingdoms, and a full panoramic roof.

Gerry McGovern, Design Director and Chief Creative Officer, said, "Versatility is a fundamental element of the Discovery family and with 5+2 seating, generous load space and configurable seating the new Discovery Sport truly deserves to wear the Discovery badge."

More details are expected to come out soon as the premium compact SUV approaches its impending global unveil on September 3, 2014. So, stay tuned!
