Volvo Cars, today, revealed the upcoming S60 Cross Country ahead of its debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. The S60 Cross Country will become the world's first crossover sedan upon its launch.

Volkswagen, the German automajor, is working on the next-generation Phaeton, which according to a report will be launched in 2016 or early 2017. The report further says that the new-gen model of the luxury saloon might be more comfortable than the Mercedes S-Class.

The 2015 Verna will get a new front fascia with larger headlamps, redesigned bumper with LED daytime running lights, new fog-lamps, dual-slat chrome grille and a bigger airdam. That said, the rear profile of the car might not see any major changes.

Renault, the French automaker, is currently working on the next-generation model of its top-selling product - the Duster SUV. The new-gen model, expected to be rolled out in 2016-17, will receive several styling and feature updates.

The car underwent crash tests in China under C-NCAP (China New Car Assessment Program) and has received 5-star safety rating. The car went through four tests under the assessment: 100 percent overlap crash, side impact, 40 percent overlap front and whiplash.

2014 has been the best ever year for Honda Cars India that launched two all new products in the year - new-gen City and Mobilio. The company has clocked 14,428 units of domestic sales in December 2014 as against 5,493 units sold during December 2013, registering an increase of 163%.
