Skoda Superb Facelift To Arrive By May 2020; Kodiaq BS6 Confirmed For Late 2020
Skoda India has an onslaught of new offerings lined up for launch in the next two years with at least four new models confirmed in 2020. While we recently told you about the Karoq SUV's launch details, Skoda has officially said that the Superb facelift will also be arriving next year with the launch scheduled on May 2020. Zac Hollis, Director Sales, Service & Marketing, Skoda Auto India, has confirmed the development via Twitter and the company's flagship sedan will arrive with several cosmetic upgrades and feature additions over the current model. Meanwhile, the Kodiaq BS6 will also arrive by late 2020. It's unclear if the diesel engine will continue to power the SUV or if it will continue with a petrol motor.
Skoda Karoq SUV Confirmed For India Launch In April 2020

Auto giants Skoda and Volkswagen have planned an SUV onslaught for next year and the manufacturers will bring a range of new offerings to the Auto Expo before launching the models in the following months. Now, we have more details on one of the launches from Skoda and this is none other than the Karoq SUV that will go on sale in April next year. The launch timeline was confirmed by Zac Hollis Director - Sales, Service and Marketing, Skoda Auto India. The Skoda Karoq will be initially brought to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), Hollis confirmed and will be offered with only a petrol engine at the time of launch.

German auto giants Skoda and Volkswagen are set for an overhaul starting next year as part of VW India 2.0, and the Volkswagen Group manufacturers have a lot to offer in the coming years. While we already know about the SUVs that the carmaker plans to drive in over the next couple of months, details have now been revealed on the new mid-size sedan from the manufacturer that will replace the Skoda Rapid. Zaz Hollis, Director - Sales, Service and Marketing, Skoda Auto India has revealed that the Rapid replacement has been internally codenamed the 'ANB Sedan' and will be launched by the end of 2021. Hollis confirmed the development while responding to a user query on Twitter.

Kia Motors India entered India with a bang with the launch of the Seltos compact SUV and the automaker's next product for the Indian market will be the Carnival MPV. The Kia Carnival is a Toyota Innova Crysta rival and we already told you that the model is slated to make its way to the Indian market next year. Now, Kia India has confirmed that production of the upcoming MPV will begin by early 2020 at the Anantapur facility in Andhra Pradesh.
