An Italian court has allowed motorcycle brand MV Agusta 's new business plant to restructure its debt with creditors and suppliers. The court order in Varese, Italy, may well result in MV Agusta closing its investment deal with the Black Ocean Group, an Anglo-Russian private equity firm. Latest reports speculate that Black Ocean could take over the position held by Mercedes-AMG in MV Agusta. The Italian motorcycle brand has been reeling under financial crisis for some time now, with the firm forced to slash budgets last year in order to continue operating.

Japanese electric motorcycle manufacturer Mugen Shinden has unveiled a new model - the Mugen Shinden Roku - the firm's sixth entry into the Isle of Man TT. "Roku" - Japanese for number "six" is so named to mark Mugen's sixth year in the iconic race. Piloted this year by John McGuinness and Guy Martin, this year's attempt will be to break the 120 mph (193 kmph) at the TT Zero event at the IOMTT.

The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been launched in India at a price of Rs 3.64 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The baby Ninja gets new livery - new decals inspired from the larger-displacement Ninja supersport models. The new Ninja 300 also gets a fatter 140 section rear tyre on the 2017 model, compared to the 130 section tyre on the outgoing model, and now meets new emission norms.

Triumph Motorcycles is recalling a limited number of bikes in the Bonneville range for what the company calls "preventive part replacement". Triumph authorised service centres are reaching out to customers and replacing the faulty part which could potentially malfunction, CarandBike.com has learnt. The replacement will be carried out free of charge, and only certain motorcycles are affected which have been identified.
