Bajaj Auto sold a total of 338,310 two-wheelers in August 2021, which is a growth of 5 per cent over total sales of 321,058 units sold in August 2020. The highlight is the fact that Bajaj Auto's exports grew 26 per cent, jumping from 142,838 units in August last year to 180,339 units in August this year. Bajaj's domestic sales saw a drop of 11 per cent, from 178,220 units in August 2020 to 157,971 units in August 2021. In comparison, Bajaj despatched a total of 167,273 units in July 2021, which is a drop of 5.56 per cent month on month.

Coming to commercial vehicles, Bajaj Auto sold a total of 34,960 units in August 2021, which is a drop of 1 per cent over total sales of 35,141 units sold in August 2020. The highlight is the fact that Bajaj Auto's domestic CV sales grew 91 per cent, jumping from 7,659 units in August last year to 14,624 units in August 2021. Bajaj's CV exports sales saw a drop of 26 per cent, from 27,482 units in August 2020 to 20,336 units in August 2021.

In terms of new products, Bajaj Auto is reportedly working on the next generation Pulsar motorcycles which will be a 250 cc offering, and test mules have shown us that there's a naked and half-faired version in the pipeline. While there have been several camouflaged test mules spied, of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250F and the NS250, a new video has now surfaced online that gives a clear view of the motorcycles. Speculations suggest that the new Pulsar 250 range could arrive as early as this festive season, further increasing our anticipation of the models.
