Bajaj Pulsar F250

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 is one motorcycle that commands attention and with good reason. But should you invest in it? Does it make for a value pick in all circumstances? Here’s finding out more about this trusted and popular model.

How is the design?

The design of Bajaj Pulsar F250 Bike is meant to be sporty and stylish at the same time. The bike has been designed with a single-cylinder engine that makes it efficient and powerful. It also comes with features like a comfortable saddle, quick gear changes, and efficient braking system. The design of the bike is also very modern and contemporary.

It appears that earlier models of Pulsars served as inspiration for the overall design of this ship. It can be seen in the large fuel tank, the design of the semi-fairing, the LED projector lights, and the characteristic taillights, which are two strips of LEDs arranged side by side. The frosted lens appearance gives it a particularly cool look, and the lightning bolt design of the tail light is also a nice touch. However, when viewed from the rear perspective, the 130-section tyre makes the motorcycle appear to have a smaller wheel size than it actually has. Bajaj could have installed wider tires, but doing so would have necessitated alterations to the suspension setup that would have been required to maintain the vehicle's existing handling character, which is something we shall discuss in more detail later. The new analogue-digital instrument cluster is a further example of how the older Pulsars served as a source of inspiration for the newer model. In this day and age, when most motorcycles have full digital clusters, it is a welcome change to be able to see a true tachometer needle make its way around the face of the instrument.

Overall, it really appreciated that how modern and youthful the design of the Pulsar 250s is, and the available colors are the red one with the semi-fairing; the other choice is the dark grey one. In comparison to the earlier models of the Pulsar, Bajaj's quality standards have also been raised to a higher level. This can be seen in the sparkling paint, the copper colour of the engine casings, the fit and finish of the bodywork, and the tactility of the new switchgear.

How is the performance?

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 Bike is a versatile and reliable machine that is perfect for commuting or leisure rides. It has a powerful 250cc engine that delivers strong performance and torque. The bike also features a comfortable and stable riding experience thanks to its well-crafted frame.

The 250cc engine provides plenty of torque and a quick acceleration. The bike can be ridden in third or fourth gear and still reach high city speeds. The slipper clutch helps the rider in controlling the speed. Bajaj has stayed with the same 5-speed gearbox for the F250.The performance is above average. It delivers 85% of its peak torque between 3,000rpm and the redline. The bike's 5-speed transmission is lightweight and slick, and the engine won't fatigue the rider on long distances. It can also achieve speeds of over 130 kmph and still maintain impressive fuel efficiency. The Bajaj Pulsar F250 has a top speed of 130 km/h. It has a 249.07 cc engine that makes 24.5 PS of maximum power and 21.5 Nm of maximum torque.

How does the motorbike ride?

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 rides smoothly and comfortably on the roads. The bike has a comfortable seat that is well-padded, making it easy to ride for long distances. The handlebars are positioned well and the footrests are also adjustable, providing good support while riding. The bike also has an ergonomic design, making it easy to handle.

The brand new 249.07cc, SOHC, air and oil cooled engine is one of the most significant selling points associated with the Pulsar. It boasts the most cubic capacity of any engine in the Pulsar line-up, making it the most powerful option available. It produces a strong 24.5 horsepower, which is the same as the NS200, but it reaches its peak at 8,750 revolutions per minute instead of 9,750. This places it in the 250cc category of motorcycles. It is greater than both the 220F and the NS200 in terms of maximum torque, which comes in at 21.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. When you turn it on, you'll notice that the sound coming from the exhausts has a deeper and bassier tune to it, in contrast to the harsh and thrashy note that was produced by earlier models of the Pulsar. What's more, you'll notice right away that the engine is noticeably more refined than the one in the 220, despite the fact that there is a slight buzzing sensation between the foot pegs and the seat at high revs. However, you won't be spending much time at the redline because, as is common for Pulsars, the majority of the power is found in the middle of the rev range. When the engine revs are kept between 4,000 and 7,000, the engine is at its most content and also responds in the best way.

In point of fact, the gear ratios are exactly spaced out, and each one is calibrated to correspond with a specific aspect of the engine. You wouldn't hear a peep out of the engine if you drove leisurely through the city at 35 kilometers per hour while in fourth gear. The slip and assist clutch also make shifting through the gears much easier than it would be without it. When riding on the freeway, the fifth gear is tall enough to enable the motorcycle to

How comfortable the motorbike is?

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 bike is a comfortable bike to ride. To begin, the height of the rider's seat has been adjusted to a comfortable 795mm. In addition to that, it has nice contouring and provides excellent support, ensuring the traveller’s comfort over the duration of a lengthy journey. The F250's handlebars are positioned at an appropriate height and have an appropriate angle of inclination. This, in conjunction with the slightly rear-set foot pegs results in a riding stance that is both athletic and comfortable. The bike also features footrests, so you can rest your feet while you ride. The Bajaj Pulsar F250 also comes with a large fuel tank, which means you won't have to stop as often to fill up your gas tank.

A brand-new tubular steel frame may be found hiding beneath the very pleasing bodywork. It is not only three kilograms lighter than the perimeter frame of the NS200, but it is also more rigid along two of the three axes of measurement. The wheels, which are located at each end, are 0.5 kg lighter than those found on the NS. This, in conjunction with the grippy MRFs, contributes to handling that is both steady and accurate. It is not difficult to manoeuvre the motorcycle through a chicane as a result of its communicative front end, near 50:50 weight distribution, and thin rear tyre. We couldn't help but observe that the N250 seemed noticeably nimbler and more responsive than the F250, making it the superior tool for navigating dense urban traffic. On the other hand, the F250's extra weight positioned in the front added to the sensation of having slightly improved stability.

The incredible riding quality of the motorcycle is another major plus point. The front fork has excellent compliance across sloping roadways, and it does an excellent job of cushioning the ride over craters and potholes. In comparison, the monoshock has a more pronounced edge of firmness, but it also absorbs force quite beautifully. The Pulsar F250 will be able to perform well as a touring machine since it has this kind of ride quality, together with stable handling, and performance from the engine when it is not being pressured. The brakes were manufactured by the Italian company Grimeca, which was acquired by Endurance in the previous year and is now manufactured in India. A brisk pull on the lever is all that is required to bring the bike to a stop, despite the fact that they are not particularly sharp. They are, however, pretty good. However it does not have dual-channel ABS, especially when one considers how simple it is to lock the back wheel while applying significant stopping force.

How’s the tech?

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 Bike is a new bike from the Bajaj stable. It comes with all the features that a modern-day motorcycle needs like good fuel economy, excellent handling and powerful engines. The bike is also very comfortable to ride.
In terms of tech, the Bajaj Pulsar F250 is quite simple. It uses a steel tubular frame, which makes it lightweight. Its suspension is simple, too. Its switchgear is well-fitted and panel gaps aren't too wide. Other features on the bike include a split seat and twin-stripe LED tail lights. The F250 also comes with the 'Infinity Display' instrument console. The digital instrument cluster contains a speedometer, odometer, and time, along with gear position indicator and range indicator. The bike also comes with an offset crank balancer shaft that helps reduce vibrations, though higher revs still come with some. For those who are concerned about traction control, a low-rev clutch will keep you on the road.

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 comes standard with a number of high-quality components, including a telescopic front suspension, a monoshock with nitrox rear suspension, a digital odometer, and a digital tachometer in addition to these amenities. The bike has been fitted with features like a digital instrument cluster, front suspension and rear suspension for better riding experience.

How’s the mileage of the motorbike?

Bajaj Pulsar F250 is one of the most popular bikes in India. It’s a fuel-efficient bike that has great mileage. The actual mileage of the Bajaj Pulsar F250 is around 35 kilometres per litre.

Is the motorbike good value for Money?

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 is a great bike for city and long rides. Not only is it comfortable and lightweight, but its engine provides good power and fuel efficiency. The Pulsar F250 is also affordable, making it a great value for money option.

How is the after sales service?

The after sales service for Bajaj Pulsar F250 Bike is excellent. The team is always available to help with whatever issue you are facing with your bike. If there is something that needs to be fixed, they will get it done as soon as possible. In addition, they will also provide you with useful information about the bike so that you can maximize its performance.

Which Motorbikes Compete in this Segment?

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 is a street bike that competes with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, the Yamaha FZS 25, the Hero Xtreme 200S, KTM 250 Duke, Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, and the Bajaj Dominar 250.

Verdict (Is it Value for Money?)

In conclusion, we can say that Bajaj did an excellent job designing and developing the brand-new Pulsar 250. They offer a good price to performance ratio while simultaneously improving upon every area of the Pulsar 220, which will eventually reach the end of its life on the market. The bike is nimble, responsive, and agile. It offers great performance, along with a decent feature list as well. The design is striking to look at, and the overall feeling of riding it is always enjoyable. This one could actually be a really good buy from various perspectives.

Pros

  • Unmistakable Pulsar Design
  • Strong mid-range on the engine
  • Best-handling Pulsar

Cons

  • No sixth gear
  • Performance not exciting enough
  • Lacks new age features

Verdict

The biggest strength of the new Pulsar 250 is its attractive price tag something which will certainly attract its share of fans and followers. Overall, the new Pulsar 250 certainly is a good bike, but it could have definitely been even better. As the flagship Pulsars of the 21st century, celebrating the 20th anniversary milestone, the Pulsar 250s just about fall short on the wow factor. And that's something which can make all the difference between a good product, and a truly great product.

  • What's New?

The Bajaj Pulsar 250 is finally here and the new model range has been launched in the country. The Bajaj Pulsar N250 has priced at Rs. 1.38 lakh, while the Pulsar F250 is priced at Rs. 1.40 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). The brand new offering is the largest displacement Pulsar ever and the motorcycle gets a completely new design, features and underpinnings. The new Pulsar 250F replaces the iconic 220F in the brand's line-up. Bookings for the new Pulsar 250 series begin today while deliveries will take place in the first week of next month.

The all-new Bajaj Pulsar 250 gets a design overhaul. It looks more modern and upmarket than before. Notable details include the projector lens headlamp with LED DRLs flanked on either side. A new exhaust muffler is a double-barrel unit, similar to that on the Dominar 400 and 250, while the model sports a contoured fuel tank, split seats and grab rails, as well as raised clip-on handlebars. The design feels like a natural progression from that on the 220F.

Power comes from the new 249 cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled motor. Bajaj Auto says the motor has been tuned to develop 24.1 bhp and 21.5 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike uses telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear with pre-load adjustability. Braking performance comes from disc brakes at either end with ABS. The model also gets a full-digital console for the first time but there's no Bluetooth connectivity here.
