Deliveries of the Ather 450 X and Ather 450 Plus will begin from the first week of April in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The new 450X uses a larger lithium-ion battery pack producing 2.9 kWh, while the electric motor now develops 6 kW, equivalent of 8 bhp and 26 Nm of peak torque.

To win the coveted title, the Ather 450X had to compete with the likes of the Aprilia SXR 160, Bajaj Chetak, Okinawa Lite, TVS iQube, Honda Activa 6G, Yamaha Fascino 125, and Yamaha Ray ZR 125.
