Sona Comstar, one of India's leading auto components manufacturer and Israel's IRP Nexus Group are collaborating together to develop a magnet-less electric motor technology.

Ola Electric, the electric mobility arm of Ola Cabs, is all set to launch its first all-electric scooter in the coming weeks. Now, ahead of its launch, a few test mules of the upcoming electric scooter have surfaced online, and this time around we get to see it in two new colours - Pink and Blue, in addition to the already revealed matte black shade.

Ola Electric has begun taking bookings for its first ever electric scooter. The booking amount is Rs. 499 and it is fully refundable.

The BMW CE 04 electric scooter is expected to be priced at around $ 11,800 (approximately Rs. 8.80 lakh under current exchange rates).

The state government of Maharashtra released a new EV policy and electric vehicle manufacturers have welcomed the move and expect the new policy to boost EV sales in the state.

The penetration of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in Maharashtra has remained low and so now the state has revised its EV policy again, providing greater incentives to BEVs and develop a robust infrastructure to promote their sales in the state.

Goa plans to subsidise 10,000 electric two-wheelers, 500 electric three-wheelers and around 500 electric four-wheelers. Overall, the annual subsidy on electric vehicles will not exceed Rs. 25 crore.

Bookings for the Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle are set to re-open from July 15, 2021.
