Revolt Motors has announced re-opening of bookings for the Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle from 12 pm on July 15, 2021. The bookings will be re-opened for the second time across six cities that the company currently operates in. Last month, the brand re-opened bookings for the Revolt RV400 across Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad, and received an overwhelming response from consumers. Within two hours of the bookings going live last month, the brand sold Rs. 50 crore worth of the Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle. Deliveries of the booked motorcycles will begin from September 2021.

The Revolt RV400 was sold out in less than 2 hours last month, when Revolt Motors had re-opened bookings. The company bagged Rs. 50 crore worth of orders in under two hours.

The Revolt RV400 comes with a 3KW (Mid Drive) motor, powered by a 72V, 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery with a top speed of 85 kmph. The electric bike can be operated through the MyRevolt App, which offers connectivity features such as bike locator/geo-fencing, customised sounds that can be changed with just a tap on the screen, complete bike diagnostics, battery status, historical data on rides and kilometres done, and also the option of locating the nearest Revolt Switch Station to swap the electric bike's battery at, and be on-the-move in less than 60 seconds.

The Revolt RV400 gets removable batteries with portable charger, as well as on-board charger. Charged batteries can also be swapped out at the Revolt Switch Station network.

The RV400 comes with three riding modes, Eco, Normal and Sport, with claimd range of 150 km in Eco mode, 100 km in Normal mode and 80 km in Sport mode. The RV400's kWh lithium-ion battery can be charged 100 per cent in 4.5 hours, while the company says 75 per cent of charge can be achieved in 3 hours. Revolt also offers a lower-spec RV300 which has less power than the RV400, but looks more or less identical.
