Gyon, a new electric Chinese automaker under the FAW car manufacturing giant has announced that it soon be showcasing its first car in Los Angeles on August 8, 2018. The new car will be an all-electric long wheelbase luxury sedan.

The GST Council, set up by the Indian Government has reduced the GST rate on lithium-ion batteries for electric cars from 28 per cent to 18 per cent.
