Tata Altroz Could Be The Production Name Of The 45X Concept
The 2019 Geneva Motor Show is slated to begin on March 5, 2019, and Indian auto major Tata Motors has planned a number of world debuts at the annual event in Switzerland. The automaker is expected to have at least four global unveils, and has confirmed the production version of the Tata 45X concept. While a number of names have been speculated for Tata's new hatchback, the company has dropped the teasers for what will be a six letter name. Now speculations suggest that the production-spec 45X concept could be called Tata Altroz upon launch. Previously expected to be badged as the Aquila, the Altroz name seems a better fit with the company's teasers.

The future of the Mercedes-Benz SLC convertible has been in the doldrums for a while now, and it now seems the automaker is ready to pull the plug on the two-door roadster. The German auto giant has announced the 2020 Mercedes-Benz SLC Final Edition that commemorate the end of the model that was on sale for nearly 23 years. The new SLC Final Edition will make its public debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show coming up next month, while the brand hasn't announced plans of a replacement anytime soon. The Mercedes-Benz SLC started life as the SLK before the brand's nomenclature changed the moniker in 2016. The current generation of the car codenamed R172 has been on sale globally since 2011.

Project 003, as its called, has its DNA deeply rooted in concepts and technology currently being developed for those road and track-only machines. Project '003' will be built around a lightweight structure and powered by a turbocharged petrol-electric hybrid engine.
