TVS has not forgotten about the sporty commuter segment, which is where the Apache brand took birth and will be rolling out new iterations in the near future. Speaking on the sidelines of the Apache RR 310 launch, Sudarshan Venu, Joint Managing Director, TVS told NDTV that the next motorcycle in the RTR series will be the Apache RTR 160.

The TVS Apache RR 310, the flagship motorcycle from TVS Motor Company, has been launched at a price of Rs. 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom). The Apache RR 310 has been in development for over two years now, and is a progression from the TVS Akula concept showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. Honda has made a strong comeback in November 2017 with a 41 per cent after witnessing a slight dip in volumes in October this year. The company's overall sales jumped to 460,017 units last month, a healthy hike from 325,480 units sold in November 2016. Meanwhile, Honda's domestic sales stood at 432,350 units for the previous month, a growth of 44 per cent over the 299,414 units sold during November last year.
