Apple Maps Updated With Google Maps-Like Turn-By-Turn Navigation For India
While Apple Maps have been an in-built feature in iOS devices, users have seldom used the same over the practicality of Google Maps. However, in a bid to take on the latter, Apple has now added turn-by-turn navigation for Apple Maps in India. The voice navigation feature is not only available on iOS and macOS devices but will also be available on the Apple CarPlay in-car infotainment systems. Last year, Apple had integrated Google Maps into CarPlay, allowing users to use the application while driving.

India's first all-electric cab services 'Blu-Smart' has been launched in Delhi-NCR. Gensol Mobility, part of the Gensol group, is the company behind Blu-Smart and has inducted only electric vehicles are part of its fleet for the national capital region. The service aims to provide a smart urban electric mobility option for consumers, according to the company. The new service comes as air pollution has been on alarming levels in Delhi, while the central government has been promoting electric vehicles for its employees and personnel. The company will be using Mahindra e-Verito cars as its electric cabs in Delhi-NCR and has partnered with Mahindra & Mahindra.

Popular for its graphics technology, US-based Nvidia announced world's first commercially available Level 2+ automated driving system - Drive AutoPilot. The Level 2+ autonomous driving solution was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 with companies like Continental and ZF working on autonomous driving technologies powered by Nvidia Drive. Both companies announced at CES that production for the self-driving solutions will start in 2020. The company says the system integrates multiple breakthrough AI technologies that will enable supervised self-driving vehicles.
