BlackBerry today unveiled the world's first digital cockpit solution that empowers automakers to provide the in-car experience drivers want, with the security, safety, and reliability they need.

The government could soon make linking your driving licence with your Aadhar as mandatory. Union Law and Justice and Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ravishankar Prasad shared the news recently at the 106th Indian Science Congress earlier this week in Phagwara, Punjab. Speaking at the event, Prasad said, -We are going to make another big change in the law of which bill is pending in Parliament. Soon linking motor vehicle licenses with the Aadhaar will be mandatory." The union minister described Aadhar as the biggest transformation to verify the identity of any individual.

The overall process is performed by continuous communication between electric vehicle, parking facility, charging system and driver. The parking facility sends the location of empty parking spaces and charging stations, while the charging system updates the charging status of the vehicle in real-time.

Will flying cars take off at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show? Well, sort of. Samsung Electronics Co. said on Thursday it has clinched a deal with German carmaker Audi AG to supply automotive processors designed for in-vehicle information and entertainment systems. The South Korean chipmaker, which first showcased the automotive chip brand in October 2018, said the Exynos Auto V9 will be utilised for in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) solutions for Audi cars, which deliver various information, as well as entertainment content, Yonhap news agency reported.

Kia Motors is previewing a range of new technologies developed for the post-autonomous driving era at the Consumer Electronics Show 2019, to be held in Las Vegas. Kia is looking ahead to a time when autonomous driving has become the norm with an interactive 'Space of Emotive Driving' exhibit at this year's show.
