Compared to the sales from last month, MG Motor India has recorded a substantial growth of 69 per cent.

In the last two years since the launch of the Tata Nexon EV, the company has sold over 13,500 units of the all-electric subcompact SUV in India.

Toyota revealed that the Glanza clocked over 65,000 units while over 35,000 units of the Urban Cruiser were sold since the launch.

Toyota said sales were 10.5 million vehicles in 2021, including those by affiliates Daihatsu Motors and Hino Motors.

Maruti Suzuki India's net profit for the October to November 2021 period stood at Rs. 1,011 crore, compared to the Rs. 1,941 crore profit achieved during the same months in 2020, the company saw a 48 per cent decline in Q3 FY2022 profits.

Between January and December 2021, Porsche India sold 474 units in the country, its best-ever sales performance since 2014. Compared to 2020, the German luxury sports car maker witnessed a massive 62 per cent year-on-year growth.

Bajaj Auto reported net profit of Rs. 1,214 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021, down 22 per cent from Rs. 1,556 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

Pierer Mobility Group brands KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas reported 23 per cent increase in sales worldwide in 2021.
