While Honda clocked 52,000 volume on the first day of the Navratra, on the final day it sold over 1 lakh units, boosting the overall Navratra sales over 50 per cent to 3.9 lakh units from 2.6 lakh units last year.

Hero broke all records by selling over 7 lakh two-wheeler units for the month of September 2017. This is the highest sales figures that Hero has had in a single month. Recently, the company also celebrated the sales of 75 million units since it started operations.

With the positive buying sentiment around the festive season, Mahindra & Mahindra registered an upward growth in September 2017 with both passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles registering an increase in volumes. The Indian automaker's total sales for September 2017 stood at 53,663 units, a growth of 16 per cent as compared to 46,130 units sold during September 2016.

Suzuki Motorcycle India's domestic sales in the month of September 2017 alone went up to 50,785 vehicles, while exports accounted for 6,684 units. Also, sales in the last two quarters grew by 41.73 per cent.

Bajaj Auto reported a 14 per cent increase in total sales retailing 4,28,752 units in September this year, with a massive increase registered in exports.

Hyundai has recorded a growth of 17.4 per cent, selling 50.028 units in September 2017. The robust sales figures has been on the back of the launch of the new-generation Verna in August, which has sold over 6,000 units and garnered more than 14,000 bookings in barely a month since its launch.

Royal Enfield posted a sales of 70,431 units for the month of September 2017. The company recorded a growth of 22 per cent for the same.

Tata Motors recorded a growth of 18 per cent on its sales in September 2017 over September 2016. The company sold a total of 17,286 units of passenger vehicles in September 2017.
