Passenger vehicle sales declined 10.34 per cent while two-wheeler sales were down 6.33 per cent

Hyundai saw domestic sales slide 5 per cent year-on-year while Mahindra reported a 19 per cent sales growth in February 2025.

In January 2025, the auto sector sold 22,91,621 vehicles, witnessing 6.63 per cent year-on-year growth compared to 21,49,117 units sold in January 2024.

Maruti Suzuki, which launched the Dzire subcompact sedan in 2008, took around 16 years and 11 months to achieve this massive production milestone.

Passenger vehicle sales were down 13.72 per cent year-on-year compared to Nov 2023 while two-wheeler sales reported a 15.8 per cent growth.

Mahindra has revealed that the waiting period for the Roxx SUV ranges between 9 and 15 months.

The two-wheeler manufacturer reported record monthly sales of over 1.10 lakh units for the first time in its history. Domestic market sales alone accounted for over 1,00,000 units.

Recently, JSW MG India also did a similar delivery milestone in Bangalore, with 101 Windsor EVs being delivered.
