Tata Motors conventionally was infamous for quality and fit and finish issues and it's new products like the Tiago and Nexon which have been a runaway success and in turn a game changer for Tata Motors. Tata Motors has turned it around once with new products and is geared up to step up its game again with the Turnaround 2.0 strategy which aims to resonate the Passenger Vehicle business.

Fresh misconduct allegations brought by Tokyo prosecutors against ousted Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn center on the use of company funds to pay a Saudi businessman who is believed to have helped him out of financial difficulties, two company sources with knowledge of the matter said. Prosecutors arrested Ghosn for a third time on Friday, accusing him of aggravated breach of trust in transferring personal investment losses to the automaker.

With the sheer number of SUVs launched every year, it is no surprise that 2019 will be pretty much the same too. But while the SUV launches every year vary from subcompact to compact to luxury, full sized and a handful of performance SUVs, 2019 is going to be special for a different reason. It will be the first time that we see not one, not two but three subcompact, sub-4-metre subcompact SUVs launched in India in the same year. This means that that likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the Ford Ecosport and the Tata Nexon will have tough competition next year from the likes of the new Mahindra XUV300, the upcoming Toyota subcompact SUV and of course, the Hyundai QXI or Carlino SUV too. Now, while it is customary for automakers to have some sort of a Christmas themed advertisement or a campaign around this time of the year, we thought this approach was particularly interesting as one of the people Michael has tweeted out to is none other than the founder of Tesla, Elon Musk.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class range will soon be getting a new entry-level variant which will be a diesel variant. The new variant is the G 350D and will be powered by the OM656 diesel engine as standard which is a BS6 compliant diesel engine. The engine is equipped with a selective catalyst reduction (SCR) converter with an ammonia slip catalyst which is seen in the recently launched Mercedes-Benz BS6 diesel engines. Additionally, the fuel system is also treated with AdBlue which separates Nitrogen and water, thus making it harmless for the environment. Though we have this BS6 engine in several Mercedes-Benz models in India, there is no certaintyof the G350d making it to our market as Mercedes has traditionallysold only the top-end G63 AMG variant in India.

Recently some new spy shots have surfaced online, and this time around we get to see the cabin of the all-new MPV. The MPV will be based on the Kwid's CMF-A platform and will be a sub-4 metre model, rivalling the likes of the Datsun GO+.
