Ducati has unveiled the 2025 Panigale V2, marking a significant evolution in its middleweight sportbike lineup. This model introduces notable changes, including a new engine design, updated chassis, and advanced electronics, all aimed at enhancing performance and rider experience.?
Engine and Performance
The 2025 Panigale V2 features an all-new 890 cc 90° V-twin engine, replacing the previous 955 cc Superquadro. This new powerplant produces a claimed 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. Ducati has transitioned from its traditional desmodromic valve system to conventional spring-actuated valves with finger followers in this model, incorporating an intake variable timing (IVT) system to enhance torque delivery across the rev range. This change aims to improve low-end and mid-range performance, making the bike more versatile for both street and track use.
