The Kia Seltos has had quite a glorious start recording over 23,000 bookings ahead of its launch. The Korean Carmaker has now rolled out the first production car out of its Anantpur plant in Andhra Pradesh and has started with the mass production. The company has also said that it is expecting the booking numbers to increase rapidly and has enough production capacity to meet the demand. Hence, it will continue taking the bookings. The Anantpur plant currently has production capacity of 300,000 units annually.

The soon-to-be-launched Kia Seltos has already bagged over 23,000 bookings even before its official launch. Slated to go on sale in India on August 22, Kia Motors started accepting pre-bookings for the SUV from July 16, and on the first day itself, the carmaker received over 6000 bookings.

The California based carmaker in a tweet has confirmed reintroducing the unlimited free charging scheme on the Model S and Model X. At present, Tesla owners in the US need to pay $ 0.28 (28 cents) per kWh or $ 0.13 (13 cents) to $ 0.26 (26 cents) per minute for using a supercharger. This means a full charge on a Tesla Model S through a supercharger would cost $ 19.5 which is over Rs. 1300 in Indian currency. The free charging service is available to Model S and Model X owners only and Model 3 owners will need to pay for the service.
