Revolt Motors has introduced new pricing for the Revolt RV 400 electric motorcycle. The RV 400 will now be priced at Rs. 90,799 (ex-showroom, Delhi) as against its previous price of Rs. 118,999.

Okinawa Autotech has reduced the prices of its electric scooters by up to Rs. 17,892 after the FAME II scheme was amended to offer higher subsidies on purchase of electric two-wheelers.

TVS Motor Company has revised the prices of the iQube electric scooter after the revised FAME II subsidy came into effect. The prices of the electric scooter in Delhi and Bengaluru have been reduced by Rs. 11,250.

The company manufactures electric bikes under the brand name of Joy e-bike, and the partnership will help customers get e-bike insurance policies.

Consumers of electric two-wheelers will find lower prices attractive, and low cost of ownership could also fuel demand for electric two-wheelers.

The Bengaluru-based electric vehicle start-up will first launch a premium electric scooter in August, which will be a direct competitor to the Ather 450 X.

The Ather 450 Plus now starts at Rs. 1.25 lakh, while the 450X now starts at Rs. 1.44 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru, witnessing a price drop of up to Rs. 14,500 after the amendment of the revised FAME II policy for electric two-wheelers.

The amendment to the FAME II subsidy for electric two-wheelers will see a significant drop in prices, reducing the price gap between petrol-powered two-wheelers and the electric ones.
