The Revolt RV 300 and the RV 400 electric motorcycles have been launched in India and the offerings are available with a per month payment plan starting from Rs. 2999 (for 37 months).

Revolt RV 400 and RV 300, India's first electric motorcycles have gone on sale in India today, and we have all the highlights from the launch event here. The new electric motorcycle has been developed by Gurugram-based Revolt Intellicorp, founded by Rahul Sharma, former co-founder of Micromax Informatics.

A 15-month study of electric car charging behaviour in Germany has concluded that consumers can be persuaded to accept slow, overnight recharging that could help avoid brownouts from surges in electricity demand or costly upgrades to power grids.

First and last mile connectivity still remains a concern for many and Hyundai Motor Group did showcase the integrated electric scooter concept back at the CES 2017 addressing this issue. The latest concept features in future Hyundai Motor Group plans to enable first- and last-mile mobility through integrating the scooter with the future Hyundai and Kia vehicles.

Electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero Electric announced the launch of its new Dash e-scooter in India. The Hero Dash electric is priced from Rs. 62,000 (ex-showroom, India), which is part of the brand's Low Speed of offerings. It's interesting to note that Hero MotoCorp had showcased the Dash concept 110 cc scooter way back in 2014 that eventually was introduced as the Maestro Edge scooter in the market. The Hero Dash though is all-electric and is not related to that concept. It comes loaded with features, positioned at a premium when compared to the other models in the company's range. In addition to the Dash, the Hero Electric also recently introduced the Optima ER and the Nyx ER extended range models as part of its High Speed series, which are priced at Rs. 69,721 and Rs. 69,754 (all prices, ex-showroom India) respectively.

The VW ID. 3 will make its world premiere at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show and the Group will be launching almost 70 new models in the next ten years.

According to a news report published by Mint, Pawan Munjal- Chairman of Hero MotoCorp is in talks with the taxi aggregator- Ola and is willing to invest in its electric mobility venture.

Nio is keen to build a production base in Beijing and will likely seek a manufacturing partner, Chief Executive Officer and founder William Li said.
