Having listed the ZS EV on its Indian website earlier this week, MG Motor India will be officially unveiling the new electric SUV and its second offering for the country next month. The MG ZS EV will be unveiled on December 5, 2019, and the new electric offering is expected to hit the market during the first quarter of 2020. Morris Garages has been teasing the upcoming offering for a while now, and the model will take on the Hyundai Kona EV that was launched earlier this year.

The front of the Futuron features a new reinterpretation of Kia's 'tiger nose' grille, a signature for Kia design now for over a decade. While maintaining the basic principle of the design - a clear outline with tabs in the middle - Kia's designers have expanded the boundaries, widening the shape across the front of the car to create a restrained, yet elegant 'tiger face'.

As part of this tie-up SUN Mobility will support Piaggio with its smart batteries and quick interchange stations.

MG Motor India has come out with the first promotional video, teasing its upcoming electric vehicle, the MG ZS EV, earlier known as the eZS. Set to become the company's second product in India after the Hector, the new MG ZS EV will also be the company first fully electric SUV for the Indian market.

MG Motor India had earlier said that it is planning to launch electric vehicle in India in Q3 or early Q4 of FY2020.

Germany now has just 20,000 public charging points. Stephan Weil, the prime minister in Lower Saxony, where Volkswagen is based, said he wanted to see commitments for 100,000 public charging points in place by 2021.

The fully-electric Audi e-Tron SUV has become the top-selling vehicle in Norway, for the month of October 2019. According to the registration data shared by the Norwegian Road Federation, the Ingolstadt-based carmaker delivered 879 units of the Audi e-Tron electric SUV in Norway last month.

Mahindra Electric, the EV arm of the utility vehicle manufacturer, Mahindra and Mahindra has retailed almost 2000 electric vehicles in India, in October 2019. According to a social media post by Pawan Goenka, MD & CEO, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd., the 2000 units are the cumulative sales between e-Verito, e-Alfa Mini, and Treo.
