The Harley-Davidson Streetfighter marks a new chapter for the brand and made its public appearance at a trade show recently, and could also be showcased in India later this month alongside the LiveWire electric motorcycle.

The YZF-R15 platform has turned out to be extremely successful for Yamaha Motor and the bike maker has churned out a number of motorcycles that use the same underpinnings. Following up the likes of the R15, MT-15 and the most recent XSR155, Yamaha recent filed a patent for the name 'WR155' in Indonesia, hinting at a new dual-purpose motorcycle. The patent was filed on the Indonesian Intellectual Property Database (PDKI) website. That being said, the company has not made any official statements about the patents.

While there are a bunch of riders in the world of Bollywood, motorcyclists are far and few and actor Shahid Kapoor just happens to belong to the latter category. The biker has had an eclectic collection of motorcycles over the years and the latest two wheels to join his garage is the Ducati Scrambler 1100. The new Scrambler 1100 is the more powerful version based on the humble Scrambler 800, boasting of a bigger engine, better components and improved performance too. Keeping up with the popularity of retro motorcycles, Yamaha Motor has introduced the new XSR155 in Thailand. The new Yamaha XSR 155 is a retro-styled offering based on the YZF-R15 V3.0 and shares the same underpinnings as the latter. The design language though is completely new, bringing a retro touch to the Japanese bike maker's 155 cc line-up and is an extremely likeable addition to the range. Mechanically, the XSR155 carries over the Deltabox frame and other cycle parts and also the powertrain.

American motorcycle maker India Motorcycles is all set to introduce a new offering in the country called the FTR 1200 S. To be offered in two versions - FTR 1200 S and the FTR 1200 Race Replica, the bikes are scrambler styled are bring some fun to the heritage brand. The company had announced its plans to introduce the Indian FTR 1200 S in India back in December last year. At the time, the manufacturer also announced prices for the same with the FTR 1200 S was priced at Rs. 14.99 lakh and the FTR 1200 S Race Replica priced at Rs. 15.49 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom India). However, it needs to be seen if the fluctuations in the exchange rates have had an impact on the final pricing of the motorcycles.
