The wait for the BIG SUV from Mahindra is finally over. The Mahindra XUV700 flagship SUV has been in the making for more than 3 years now and there are a lot of promises made by the company for the new car. It says it redefines the segment and so we went to the company’s newest test facility to check out what it’s all about. We got to spend limited time with the diesel and petrol variants to check out what it’s all about! #mahindra #xuv700 #suv #mahindraxuv700 #xuv700reviews #carreviews #carandbike 0:00 - Introduction 1:13 - XUV700 Exterior Analysis 1:43 - Dimensions 3:26 - XUV700 Interior Analysis 6:55 - XUV700 Petrol Automatic 7:10 - XUV700 Petrol Specifications 7:22 - XUV700 Petrol Performance Analysis 8:55 - XUV700 Diesel Automatic 9:47 - XUV700 Diesel Specifications 10:08 - XUV700 Diesel Performance Analysis 11:12 - XUV700 Diesel Manual 11:23 - XUV700 Diesel Manual Specifications 11:42 - XUV700 Diesel Manual Performance Analysis 12:22 - Front & Rear Suspension 13:15 - Safety Features 15:02 - XUV700 Price in India ➡️The XUV700 certainly is an evolution of the XUV500. It retains the muscular haunches that the XUV500 had and even the bulge on the bonnet, gives it a very '500' look. ➡️The XUV700 gets a 2-litre turbo petrol unit which pushes out 197 bhp yes that's a huge amount of power, but with the 6-speed automatic transmission there is a bit of lag and that's because the torque of 380 Nm kicks in only around 2000 rpm and so the initial lag is very evident and this will especially be more evident in traffic conditions. ➡️The 2.2-litre unit punches out 182 bhp and in the automatic, there's 450 Nm of torque available which is massive. ➡️The 2.2 litre Diesel also comes with this 6-speed manual option and though the torque figures are less than the automatic at 420 Nm, the good thing is that it kicks in earlier at 1,600 rpm which means you get a better response in this band, especially with the gears in your control. ➡️The XUV700 gets advanced driver assistance systems bringing features like forward collision warning, AEB, lane keep assist and more. ➡️The Mahindra XUV700 excites with its starting price of ₹ 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), undercutting several compact SUVs as well as midsize offerings.

It's off the road where the V-Cross is in its element and we didn't step back to test its true mettle on the rough. Impressively, the new 1.9-litre diesel engine feels more at ease on the highway as well and the V-Cross still fairly surprises you with its dynamics. Here’s the review. We've been waiting to get our hands on Volkswagen's latest compact SUV - the Taigun. To do so we headed to Udaipur to sample the 1.5 TSI variant of the car. Of course, we got to sample the manual and automatic transmission of the car and deep dive into the features it has to offer as well. So how did the Taigun fair? Well, our comprehensive and most detailed review tells all #volkswagen #taigun #compactsuv #volkswagentaigun #taigunreview #carreview #carandbike 0:00 - Introduction 1:58 - Taigun Exterior Analysis 4:57 - Specifications of Taigun 5:44 - Taigun Performance Analysis 7:11 - Driving Modes in Taigun 7:50 - Hill Hold Assist Feature 8:25 - Cylinder Deactivation Feature 9:14 - Taigun Mileage 9:30 - First Drive Review 10:58 - Taigun Interior Analysis 12:02 - Features of Taigun 14:36 - Taigun Price in India ➡️The new Volkswagen Taigun drives into India's fastest growing car segment - the compact SUV. The Taigun launches with two engine types - the 1.5 four cylinder petrol and 1.0 TSI three cylinder petrol. ➡️The engine on the car is well proven globally. the 1.5 TSI makes 148 bhp and produces 250 Nm of peak torque that runs all the way from 1500 to 3500 rpm. The Taigun gets a 1.0 TSI too with 113 bhp on tap. ➡️The Taigun with the 1.5-litre engine gets the cylinder deactivation system which cuts off two cylinders when you are coasting, aiding in better fuel efficiency. ➡️The Volkswagen Taigun also does well on rough and broken roads, and some pebbly tracks. ➡️The GT models are expected with the 6-airbags as standard. Electronic Stability Control or ESC is standard, so is traction control, rear parking sensors, I love that 3-point seatbelts are standard for all 5 passengers. ➡️The Taigun's 1 litre variant should start at ₹ 9.99 lakh in my opinion, and the car should top off at a maximum ₹ 17 lakh. But expect pricing to mirror the Kushaq's. That means ₹ 10.5 - 16 lakh for the 1.0, and between ₹ 16 and 18 lakh for the two cars we have showed you today. ➡️The Taigun launches in mid-September, and that's when the actual prices will be out.
