Lewis Hamilton finished today's final Practice session on a high as he set the fastest time as Nico Rosberg made an error at the Russian Grand Prix. With soft tyre runs in the second practice session seeing the quickest times set, Hamilton posted a 1:39.630.

Nico Rosberg set the fastest time at the FP1 session of the Russian Grand Prix at the Sochi circuit. On a new circuit, Rosberg set a best time of 1:42.311 to beat team-mate Lewis Hamilton by just 0.065s.
