    We gave you all the information you needed when it came to the Formula E Championship - the first of its kind all-electric racing series and after going through thorough testing at Donnington, the Championship is underway in Beijing as we speak. With 10 teams going head to head in this year, Indians will surely be interested to find out how Mahindra Racing is doing.

    The first ever Formula E official track action took place in Beijing this morning with Brazilian's Bruno Senna (Mahindra Racing) and Lucas di Grassi (Abt) leading the way. Di Grassi was quickest in the first free practice session, ending over half a second clear of Swbastien Buemi (e.dams-Renault).

    The session passed without much incident, however in the second session, two drivers fell victim to the walls around the Olympic Stadium. These included Buemi and local hero Ho-Pin Tung who nevertheless ended up third fastest for China Racing.

    Karun Chandhok was 5th fastest in the first free practice session but could'nt improve on the time in the second practice session. All eyes will be on the qualifying session to see how well the drivers do. We'll get you all the updates here.
