Lewis Hamilton will go into Qualification a confident man as he set the fastest time of FP3 while Nico Rosberg completed just three laps. Hamilton suffered in the FP2 session yesterday and today Rosberg found himself in the middle of reliability issues.

While it was a good FP1 session for Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg garnered back some revenge by being the fastest man on track in FP2 for the Italian Grand Prix. However, it has to be noted that his team-mate Lewis Hamilton missed the majority of the session due to an electronics issue.

Lewis Hamilton was comfortably the fastest drivers during the opening practice session for the Italian Grand Prix while it was McLaren's Jenson Button who was second fastest. Hamilton secured a time of 1:26.187 which saw him steer half a second clear of Button.

Four-time Formula One World Champion - Sebastian Vettel - became the first F1 driver to lap the newly completed Sochi Autodrom in Krasnodar Krai, Russia on Monday. Those who don't know, Sochi Autodrom will host the inaugural Russian Grand Prix in October, 2014.

Daniel Ricciardo took back-to-back victories by winning the Belgian Grand Prix leaving Mercedes with plenty to worry about. Hamilton took the lead at the start with Rosberg attacking in to Les Combes on lap two.

After exchanging places in all the Free Practice sessions, both the Mercedes drivers were on track for another fight to the finish in the qualification session. A wet race track saw all the teams opting for intermediate tyres and Rosberg capitalized on this weather to beat team-mate Lewis Hamilton at the Spa-Francorchamps.

Bernie Ecclestone clarified that it is too late for a 2015 return of the Indian Grand Prix and the concerned organisers must settle contractual obligations if they wish to keep the hopes of a possible comeback in 2016 alive.

Lewis Hamilton comfortably set the fastest time of FP2 of 1:49.189, which put him over 0.6s clear of team-mate Nico Rosberg. Hamilton was on the soft compound tyre and with the grip on offer, he gunned for it.
