Hero MotoCorp is gearing up for another launch this month. It is all set to launch two Scooters which will take its total count to five launches this month. Prices for the new Hero Maestro Edge 125 and Hero Pleasure 110 will be announced today and both have been one of the long-awaited models.

TVS Radeon 110 Gets 2 New Colours; Priced At Rs. 50,070

TVS Motor Company has introduced two new colours for the Radeon 110 cc commuter motorcycle. The TVS Radeon is now available in Titanium Grey and Volcano Red shades and is now priced at Rs. 50,070 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Compared to the launch of Rs. 48,400, the updated Radeon is about Rs. 1200 more expensive. The new colours are available in addition to Metal Black, Pearl White, Royal Purple and Golden Beige shades that have been on offer since the launch in August last year. Barring the new colour options, the TVS commuter does not get any changes to the mechanicals.

Hero MotoCorp is on a roll with its new offerings and will be introducing the much awaited Maestro Edge 125 and the new Pleasure 110 scooters later this month. The new scooters are scheduled for launch on May 13, 2019, and will take the total number of launches from the company to five this month. The Hero Maestro Edge 125 has been a long awaited model from the manufacturer after being first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and shares its underpinnings with the Destini 125 that was launched last year. The Hero Pleasure 110 meanwhile, gets its first comprehensive upgrade with completely revised styling and was spotted uncamouflaged during its TVC shoot.

TVS Motor Company has started rolling out the drum brake version of the NTorq 125 scooter at dealerships. The new entry-level TVS NTorq 125 drum brake variant is priced at Rs. 58,252 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which makes it about Rs. 1648 cheaper than the front disc brake version that is current available. The new drum brake variant makes the sporty scooter more affordable, especially in several other cities where the prices difference extends up to Rs. 4000, and will only help the scooter garner better sales.

Scooters continue to remain top sellers for Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) bringing in the chunk of volumes. While it is the Activa leading the sales charts always, the Dio isn't too bad either on the sales front. In fact, the Honda Dio 110 cc scooter has crossed the 30 lakh sales milestone, adding a new feather to its hat. Honda says the first 15 lakh sales took 14 years to achieve, but the latest 15 lakh sales were registered in just three years. That's five times faster than the earlier pace, which has helped the Dio grow into India's fourth largest selling scooter. The milestone also comes at a time when the domestic auto industry is undergoing a lull phase over the past few months.
