Hero MotoCorp has finally come out with a major update for its most-affordable scooter, the Hero Pleasure. Now christened the Hero Pleasure+ (Plus) 110, the scooter now comes with a bigger, more powerful 110 cc engine, revised styling and host of new and updated features.

The 125 cc scooter segment is one of the most lucrative two-wheeler segments in India and it's growing by leaps and bounds. In a year, the segment has seen several launches and the new Maestro Edge is the latest one. In fact, it is the second 125 cc scooter from Hero after the Destini and shares its underpinnings with it as well. It is the only scooter in India to be offered with a fuel injected engine and is BS6 compliant. Read on to know how it competes with its rivals in terms of pricing.

Benelli India, a part of Mahavir Group, today announced a price reduction of up to Rs. 60,000 on its 300 cc range of motorcycles. While the naked streetfighter bike, Benelli TNT 300, has received a price cut of Rs. 51,000, while price the full-faired Benelli 302R (Tornado 302R) has been slashed by Rs. 60,000.

The Hero Pleasure Plus 110 comes with a host of updates, as we've already said before, and it comes with two variants. With prices starting at Rs. 47,300 (ex-showroom Delhi), it's more expensive than its predecessor.

India's Ride-hailing service provider Ola is reportedly betting big on two and three-wheelers for its electric mobility drive. In fact, the company is expected on deploying 10,000 electric vehicles (EVs), a mix of two and three-wheelers, in India by March 2020.

Hero MotoCorp's second launch for the day is the all-new Pleasure Plus scooter. The new Hero Pleasure 110 is priced at Rs. 47,300 (ex-wife, Delhi) and gets comprehensive upgrades over the outgoing version with a revised design, new colours and more features on offer. It still remains one of the most affordable scooters on sale and will be attracting a number of first time female buyers. Bookings for the new Pleasure commence from today across the two-wheeler maker's dealerships pan India, while deliveries will begin by the end of this month.

Hero MotoCorp has finally launched the new Maestro Edge 125 scooter with prices starting at Rs. 58,500(Ex-showroom, Delhi). The all-new Hero Maestro Edge 125 joins the Destini 125 as the company's second offering in the 125 cc scooter segment, and is targeted at a younger set of customers unlike the Destini which is family oriented scooter. The Maestro Edge 125 was first showcased at the Auto Expo last year and the final production version is nearly identical to the model we first saw. With two offerings catering to a diverse buyer group, Hero aims to capture a larger share in the scooter space.
