Electric Dragster Sets European Quarter Mile Record
We've always maintained that electric cars in any form should never be underestimated and many a car manufacturer has showed us how electricity can transform the car and its performance. So, when we heard about an electric dragster, we weren't really surprised. It's called the Electric Fox and it hit the Tierp Arena in Sweden where it managed to take down the European record for an electric dragster in the quarter mile.

Ford has revealed the all-new 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder Eco Blue diesel engine, which promises to offer better efficiency and performance. The new engine can be tuned to produce power outputs ranging from 100PS to 240PS in future cars from Ford. The engine has been developed by Ford R&D teams in UK and Germany.
