The shutdown of plants and auto dealers hit the U.S. auto sector hard in April and May, but assembly plants reopened starting May 18 and have since boosted production while sales have rebounded as states reopen economies.

Diesel variants are the most in demand attributing 55 per cent to the overall sales of the 2020 Hyundai Creta while rest of the 45 per cent are attributed to both petrol iterations.

Vehicle registration for the month of May saw a massive drop of 88.87 per cent in India.
