CV Sales July 2020: Ashok Leyland Almost Doubles Monthly Volumes Over June; Sees 56% Y-o-Y Decline

Home-grown commercial vehicle manufacturer, Ashok Leyland today released the monthly sales numbers for July 2020, during which the company's total sales stood at 4775 units. Compared to the 10,926 units sold in July 2019, the company has witnessed a Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) decline of 56 per cent.

  Bajaj Auto, the Pune-based auto manufacturer on Monday officially announced its monthly sales numbers for the month of July 2020. For the last month, the automaker retailed 2,55,832 units, as against the 3,81,530 units in the same month last year. The manufacturer has witnessed a degrowth of 33 per cent in Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) numbers. However, as compared to the previous month, the company recorded a Month-on-Month (M-o-M) decline of 8 per cent wherein the company retailed 2,78,097 units in June 2020.

  Auto Sales July 2020: Mahindra Tractor Sales Up By 28% In The Domestic Market

  Mahindras Farm Equipment Sector (FES) also announced its tractor sales for July 2020 wherein the company recorded a growth of 27 per cent. The total tractor sales including domestic and exports stood at 25,402 units during July 2020, as against 19,992 units sold in the same month last year. Seeing a positive response from the domestic market, the company sold 24,463 units, witnessing a jump of 28 per cent. Last year, the company had sold 19,174 units in the same month.
