Mercedes-Benz India has launched the 2022 C-Class luxury sedan, with prices starting at Rs. 55 Lakh (ex-showroom). The new-generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan or the 'baby S', will be offered in three variants - C 200, C 220d and C 300d.

Like the Monte Carlo variants of the previous Skoda cars, the Kushaq too comes with revised styling elements and additional features that add a dash of sportiness to its demeanour.

The MG Hector has been its bestselling model so far followed by the MG Astor and MG ZS EV.

The Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo variant will sit above the existing top-spec Style trim of the compact SUV. It comes with the choice of both the 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI engines, in both manual and automatic options.

Mercedes-Benz is all set to launch the 5th generation model of the C-Class in India on May 10, 2022. We expect it to give tough competition to the other heavyweights in the segment - BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, Jaguar XE and the Volvo S60.

Skoda Auto India has informed us that the Kushaq Monte Carlo will be around Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 80,000 more expensive than the Style variant of the SUV. So, we expect the Kushaq Monte Carlo to be priced between Rs. 15.99 lakh to Rs. 19.59 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Honda City e:HEV hybrid sedan is being offered in a single range-topping ZX trim which is almost Rs. 4.5 lakh costlier over the standard City ZX.

Mercedes-Benz is offering almost every model in its range with both petrol and diesel powertrains, including the upcoming C-Class sedan that recently made its India debut.
