The Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ electric sedan will be the second electric product in India from the German carmaker after the Mercedes-Benz EQC electric SUV, launched in October 2020.

The Citroen C3 is the second product for the carmaker in India after the Citroen C5 AirCross, to rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Tata Punch, Renault Kiger and even the Nissan Magnite in the SUV-inspired B-segment hatchback.

We expect Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara to feature a mild-hybrid and a strong hybrid powertrain, along with the optional All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) system.

The Kia Carens contributed 1 lakh units since its launch in January 2022, while the Kia Seltos leads the pack for the company by registering 59 per cent of its overall domestic sales.

The new C3 is Citroen’s first made-for-India hatchback and will go up against the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Tata Punch.
