The Defender is a fantastic SUV, but the maintenance costs are on the higher side. The off-road capabilities are amazing, and the car feels solid, but you need to be prepared for some expensive servicing. The new Defender is a great car, but the price is a bit steep. The suspension feels too stiff, making long drives uncomfortable. The infotainment system is glitchy and slow to respond. Plus, the maintenance costs are ridiculously high. For the price.
