Piaggio Group has launched the Aprilia SR150 Race in the country priced at Rs. 70,282 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The SR150 Race comes in less than six months after the regular SR150 scooter was launched in India and comes with Aprilia's RS-GP inspired body colour and graphics.

Piaggio India today announced the launch of its popular moto-scooter Aprilia SR 150 in our neighbouring country, Nepal. Launched at an introductory price of NPR 2,39,000, which is roughly about Rs. 1.49 lakh, and now further expands the company's portfolio in the country.

Italian two-wheeler brand Piaggio has launched the extremely exclusive Vespa 946 Emporio Armani Edition in India priced at a whopping Rs. 12,04,970 (ex-showroom, Pune). The scooter was commissioned last year to mark the 40th anniversary of Georgio Armani and the 130th anniversary of the Piaggio Group and receives styling from the iconic fashion brand, Armani. Royal Enfield is all set to celebrate the 2016 edition of the Rider Mania, its annual gathering of Royal Enfield owners and enthusiasts from 18-20 November, 2016. From what we know, more than 5,500 people have already registered for the event. The government is seeking to bank on the Lambretta brand as it seeks to embark on a strategic sale of assets of the loss-making PSU, Scooters India Ltd. According to reports, the government is keen to ensure that the Lambretta brand stays with Scooters India to maximise valuation of the loss-making automaker Scooters India. The Heavy Industries Ministry is planning to put up the company for "strategic sale," which includes sale of government shareholding along with transfer of management control.
