What's New?

Triumph Motorcycles will launch the new Daytona 660, marking the resurgence of the Daytona name in its line-up. The original Triumph Daytona 675 has quite the fan following, in India and around the world, and the nameplate does mean a lot for Triumph fans in India. The Triumph Daytona 660 is a mid-size sportbike, which features Triumph’s 660cc triple engine its most powerful state of tune yet. The same engine is also used in the Triumph Trident 660 and Triumph Tiger Sport 660. On the Daytona 660, this engine delivers 95hp at 11,250 rpm and 69 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. Unlike its predecessor, the Daytona 660 offers a more relaxed rider triangle, making it more comfortable to ride. The clip-on handlebars are positioned above the fork tops, and the footpegs are not set too high, resulting in a sporty yet comfortable riding position.

While the Daytona 660 shares the main frame, wheels, and most cycle parts with its counterparts, there are some notable changes. Weighing in at 201kg (12kg heavier than the Trident), it features Triumph-branded radially mounted calipers. Additionally, the Daytona 660 comes with a Sport riding mode, whereas the other two Triumph 660s offer just Road and Rain modes. The seat height of the Daytona 660 has increased by 5mm compared to the Trident, and is now at 810mm. Unlike the sport-touring Michelin Road 5 tires found on the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, the Daytona 660 is equipped with sportier Michelin Power 6 rubber.
