In a positive move toward re-establishing its goodwill, India Kawasaki Motor has delivered over 13 bikes to customers after the Navi Mumbai based dealership cheated the owners of their money.

The government is seeking to bank on the Lambretta brand as it seeks to embark on a strategic sale of assets of the loss-making PSU, Scooters India Ltd. According to reports, the government is keen to ensure that the Lambretta brand stays with Scooters India to maximise valuation of the loss-making automaker Scooters India. The Heavy Industries Ministry is planning to put up the company for "strategic sale," which includes sale of government shareholding along with transfer of management control.

Pune-based electric bike maker Tork Motorcycles has unveiled India's first all-electric bike - T6X. Upon its launch the bike will come at an introductory price of Rs. 1,24,999.

Piaggio India has now finally commenced the deliveries of the Aprilia SR 150 in the country. Although the scooter, or as Aprilia likes to call it, sports crossover bike, was launched on August 22, bookings for the SR 150 began almost a month before that. Piaggio has received more than 150 bookings for the SR 150.

Honda Two Wheelers has announced its tie up with HDFC Ergo as its preferred insurance partner. The two companies have signed an MOU with regards to the same.
