Italian-American auto major Fiat Chrysler plans to launch 12 models in India in the next five years and will start producing models from the Jeep brand in the country by 2015.

Toyota India has finally launched the much awaited Etios Cross in India. Available in 2 petrol and 1 diesel engine options with four grades, the car is priced between Rs 5.76 lakh and Rs 7.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

SsangYong, the Korean carmaker owned by Mahindra & Mahindra has now rolled out its flagship SUV Rexto's new model called the RX6 in India. Positioned between Rexton's two existing variants - RX5 and RX7, the new RX6 is priced at Rs 19.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Being a part of Volkswagen family, the SUV is expected to be inherited with similar traits as seen in Volkswagen Trourag, Porsche Cayenne and the upcoming SUV from Bentley.

Ford is offering LED daytime running lights as optional feature across all trims of EcoSport SUV. This feature is already available as standard feature in EcoSport sold in overseas markets; however in India it has been inducted now as optional.

The long wheelbase version will offer 186mm more legroom for rear seat passengers and, with the option of the executive seating package, the rear seats can be reclines to 17 degrees.
