BMW has officially teased the high-performance M8 version of the upcoming BMW 8 Series. The early prototype of the future BMW M8 was unveiled during a driving presentation as part of the support programme for the Nurburgring 24-hour race.

The new 8 Series will be a super-coupe of sorts with a power engine under the hood, a big boot and luxurious interiors. Although the car that has been leaked is just a concept, the actual version of the 8 Series will be unveiled next year as a production model.

Sources have said that the electric car-maker Tesla is in talks with global component supplier such a Draxlmaier and Magneti Marelli to supply precision parts and components in India so that Tesla can work on setting up shop in the country. From what we hear, the discussions between the companies have already begun and a partnership is likely to form for supplying components in India.
