Mahindra has been readying up its popular selling SUV for a comprehensive update that is now confirmed to arrive later this year. The Mahindra Scorpio facelift is likely to be launched towards the end of July or early August 2017 in the country and will receive major upgrades to its aesthetics, in addition to getting new features on-board.

Kia has unveiled the design sketches for its new upcoming subcompact SUV, the Stonic. The new Stonic is essentially Kias version of the new Hyundai Kona and will eventually make it to India once Kia officially launches its cars in India. The new Stonic has a more crossover like design language as compared to the larger SUVs from KIA (or Hyundai) that features a more upright and more conventional SUV stance and design. The Stonic will be available in global markets by the end of 2017 and will be highly customisable. When it does make it to India, expect the new Stonic SUV to be sub 4-meters in length and go up against some tough competition like the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the Ford Ecosport and a plethora of SUVs from Mahindra. The Stonic will also take on the upcoming Tata Nexon.

A new teaser image of the 2018 Volkswagen Polo has been released ahead of its official unveiling at the Frankfurt Motor Show, in September. The 2018 VW Polo is built on the company's popular MQB platform and will come with major design and cosmetic changes.

Nissan has updated the X-Trail with new features and styling elements. The current gen X-Trail has been on sale internationally since 2014. Nissan says that the X-Trail Hybrid might make its way to India this year.

Renault has been testing the new-generation Duster for a while now. And from what we hear, Renault will launch the new-gen Duster which has been code-named HJD, in late 2018 or early 2019.

German auto manufacturer Audi has announced in line with its plan, the company will be launching two new SUVs in its 'Q' line-up, the Q8 and the Q4 by 2019. The company also said that it will be launching three new e-tron battery powered electric vehicles by 2020.

Two new test mules of the upcoming Ford EcoSport facelift were spotted testing in India again. While the overall silhouette remains the same, the subcompact SUV will see a plethora of changes to the styling and interior.

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift was spotted testing in India, ahead of its launch planned for later this year. The test mule was seen with some minor camouflage and a few new features.
