Increasing tariffs from Europe on Harley-Davidson bikes may force the American manufacturer to shift production to Europe in a few years' time.

Piaggio Group today launched the new Aprilia Storm 125 cc scooter in India, priced at Rs. 65,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). First, showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, the new Aprilia Storm 125 is now the most affordable model in the Italian two-wheeler marque's Indian line-up.

Mechanically, the motorcycle remains the same, apart from the introduction of two new paint schemes - Lime Green and Metallic Moon Dust Grey.

The new 2019 BMW S 1000 RR will be launched in India in the last week of June. The updated BMW S 1000 RR boasts of more power from a completely new engine, and with updated styling and bodywork.

A near production version of the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure has again been spotted, this time sporting cast alloy wheels. Two variants are expected in the production model, together with a higher-spec R version with spoked wheels.

In a world first, Gurugram-based 22Motors has secured a patent for a Hill Assist Control feature on two-wheelers. The electric mobility solutions start-up applied for the patent on February 7, 2019 and the same was granted to the company on May 9 this year. 22Motors describes the feat as an example of intelligent engineering, which will add to the customer safety. While the feature has been available on cars for a while, this is for the first time that a two-wheeler will get the same. 22Motors is yet to start the sale of its electric scooters though, having showcased it at the Auto Expo last year.

The Ducati Hypermotard 950 Concept created by Centro Stile Ducati has won first place in the Concept Bikes: New Design and Prototypes at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.

Hero Electric has already expanded its sales and service network across India and plans to open 15 new dealerships in the next two months.
