Japanese two-wheeler giant, Yamaha Motor has announced a production milestone of 10 million units in India. The company achieved the landmark production figure in 34 years of its presence in the country, having begun operations in 1985. The production number is a result of Yamaha's three manufacturing facilities locatd in Surajpur, Faridabad and Chennai that have contributed to the achievement. The 10 millionth vehicle to roll-out at the ceremony was the Yamaha FZS-FI V3.0 at the Chennai plant - a popular seller for the company that was launched in January this year. The production volumes have not only catered to the domestic demand but for exports as well.

BMW Motorrad India today announced the launch of the all-new BMW F 850 GD Adventure Pro motorcycle. Priced at Rs. 15.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India) the new long-distance touring enduro motorcycle was first unveiled at the 2018 EICMA show in Milan, Italy.

Hero MotoCorp has finally come out with a major update for its most-affordable scooter, the Hero Pleasure. Now christened the Hero Pleasure+ (Plus) 110, the scooter now comes with a bigger, more powerful 110 cc engine, revised styling and host of new and updated features.

The 125 cc scooter segment is one of the most lucrative two-wheeler segments in India and it's growing by leaps and bounds. In a year, the segment has seen several launches and the new Maestro Edge is the latest one. In fact, it is the second 125 cc scooter from Hero after the Destini and shares its underpinnings with it as well. Benelli India, a part of Mahavir Group, today announced a price reduction of up to Rs. 60,000 on its 300 cc range of motorcycles. While the naked streetfighter bike, Benelli TNT 300, has received a price cut of Rs. 51,000, while price the full-faired Benelli 302R (Tornado 302R) has been slashed by Rs. 60,000.

The Hero Pleasure Plus 110 comes with a host of updates, as we've already said before, and it comes with two variants. With prices starting at Rs. 47,300 (ex-showroom Delhi), it's more expensive than its predecessor.

India's Ride-hailing service provider Ola is reportedly betting big on two and three-wheelers for its electric mobility drive. In fact, the company is expected on deploying 10,000 electric vehicles (EVs), a mix of two and three-wheelers, in India by March 2020.

Bookings for the new Pleasure commence from today across the two-wheeler maker's dealerships pan India, while deliveries will begin by the end of this month.
