The Mercedes-Benz S-Class facelift was showcased a few months ago internationally and is expected to make its debut in India in early 2018. Recently though, the facelift Mercedes-Benz S-Class was spotted undergoing emissions testing on the Mumbai-Pune expressway. The car was seen undergoing tests for real-world usage emissions that are routinely held by the ARAI or Automotive Research Association Of India. Electric powertrain developer and manufacturer of one of the most insane hypercars in the world, Rimac, have teased a successor to the already bonkers Concept One. The Concept One is the electric hypercar that Rimac currently produce, albeit in very limited numbers, and has already proven to be the best in its class by destroying almost everything else - including the likes of the Porsche 918 in a straight line drag race. The new hypercar will be more powerful and according to official Rimac communication, 'a true game changer'. Rimac also provides the powertrain for the likes of Koenigsegg and Aston Martin for their respective electric hypercars.

The molecules in this alloy do not adopt the new shape, but rather retains the wheel shape and the mesh moves right back to its original form. NASA hasn't mentioned any cost but we assume it's a monstrous amount and one that we'll probably never know.

Jeep India have issued a major recall of the popular Jeep Compass over safety issues. The recall is due to the passenger front airbag in the Jeep Compass being affected by what Jeep has termed 'loose fasteners' that can affect the correct working of the airbag in case of a collision. In a statement put out earlier today, Jeep has said that the recall is expected to affect just a small number (about 1%) of the popular SUV globally. In India, Jeep has so far delivered over 1200 Compass SUVs and all of these will be recalled and checked by the dealer.

The autonomous testing on public roads, which includes the Tata Hexa is the first of its kind in the UK and also includes cars like a new Ford Mondeo and the Range Rover Sport.Apart from being a part of the UK Autodrive project, Tata Motors and Land Rover have also started doing independent tests on UK roads albeit with trained drivers in the car at all times in case something goes wrong.

A prototype Lamborghini Aventador with styling influenced from the Lamborghini Huracan Performante has been spied recently. Although Lamborghini launched the Aventador S recently with the likes of upgraded brakes, rear wheel steering and even more power, this new V12 powered beast seems to have gone in the direction of extreme aero as compared to more power. The hardcore Aventador will also possibly be the last iteration of the supercar with a new V12 Lambo expected to make a debut in the next couple of years. Although the last iteration of all Lamborghini V12s have always been called the SV, this time around, the Italian automaker might use a new nomenclature as they have already used the SV moniker earlier as the last version of the pre-facelift version.
