Mercedes-Benz India announced a 28 per cent rise in sales in the January-September 2022 period, delivering 11,469 new cars.

The Group posted cumulative wholesales of 3,35,976 units in the second quarter of the financial year.

All the categories showed extremely high growth with 2W, 3W, CV, PV and Tractors increasing by 52 per cent, 115 per cent, 48 per cent, 70 per cent and 58 per cent respectively.

First launched in 1998, the Honda City has been a key model for HCIL and the company has sold over 9 lakh units of the City in our market so far.

Sonalika Tractors has managed to grab 15 per cent market and is expecting to maintain the growth momentum throughout the festive season period.

Ola Electric's new experience centres managed to fuel its growth during Navratri and the company expects to carry the same momentum through the festive period as it expands to newer cities.

All segments except for the tractors posted a growth in sales year-on-year though two-wheelers sales remained below pre-pandemic levels.

In terms of year-to-date sales, HMSI registered a growth of 35 per cent selling 25,22,552 units in the April 2022 - September 2022 period.
