Tata Motors has come out with the number for the first quarter of Financial Year 2019-20, reporting a massive loss of Rs. 3,679.66 crore for the quarter which ended on June 30.

Overall Harley-Davidson sales are still under pressure, and the American motorcycle brand now expects to ship fewer motorcycles worldwide in 2019. Harley-Davidson has though reported strong sales in China and other Asian markets.

Mercedes-Benz India has announced an increase in prices for select model range in India. With effect from August 2019, select Mercedes-Benz cars will see an upward revision in prices, up to 3 per cent across the model range.

Mercedes-Benz which is the largest-selling luxury car brand in India has witnessed a sales decline of 18.60 per cent in the Indian market in the first half of calendar year 2019.

The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) today released the Monthly Vehicle Registration Data for the Month of June 2019. According to the FADA report, last month, the total Vehicle Registrations fall 5.4 per cent.

June 2019 has marked one full year of stumbling sales in the Indian auto industry. The passenger vehicle (PV) segment has recorded a slump of 17.54 per cent in June 2019 selling 225,732 units against 273,748 units which were sold a year ago.
